Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AE4 Innovation Program learning platform (the “Service”), operated by Mantum Tech. If you use the Service as part of a school program, your school’s agreement with us also applies.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

The Service is provided for use within the AE4 Innovation Program. Students use the Service under the authorization and supervision of their school and, where required, with parent or guardian consent obtained by the school. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

3. Roles & Access

Accounts are Student, Teacher, or Administrator. Teacher and Administrator privileges are granted only by an Administrator. You may not attempt to obtain access, roles, or data you have not been granted, or circumvent the Service’s access controls.

4. Acceptable Use

Use the Service for its educational purpose. You agree not to: (a) misuse, probe, or bypass security or access controls; (b) upload unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing content; (c) attempt to manipulate AI grading, impersonate others, or misrepresent your work; or (d) disrupt or overload the Service.

5. AI-Generated Content & Assessment

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate curricula and to assist with assessment. AI output may contain errors or omissions and should be reviewed by an educator. AI-generated grades and mastery levels are estimates that a teacher or administrator may review and adjust; such changes are recorded. AI output is not professional, legal, medical, or accreditation advice, and does not by itself confer academic credit.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

Curricula and materials generated through the Service are provided for educational use within the program. You retain rights in the content you create (such as written responses and board content) and grant the program a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to operate the Service. The Service software, design, and AE4 branding are the property of Mantum Tech and the AE4 program.

7. Records

Competency levels, scores, progress, and related records are stored to support learning and credit determinations made by the school. Teachers and administrators may review and adjust records; adjustments are logged for accountability.

8. Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for violation of these Terms, for security reasons, or at the direction of your school or administrator.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service or AI output will be accurate, error-free, or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mantum Tech and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
